My grandmother always encouraged me to try, saying "faint heart, ne'er one fair maiden". I do keep trying, and although their is always some good in making the effort, this time the outcome was disappointing. The latest attempt was an entry in B&W Magazine's Portfolio Contest 2009.Dear Contest Entrant,
We’re writing to advise you that your entry in the B&W Portfolio Contest 2009 was not selected for an award. The judging becomes more difficult and time-consuming each year because of the number of entries and the overall quality of the portfolios.
For this reason, we are establishing a Portfolio Gallery on our website with plans to display all of the portfolios submitted for our contest. Each photo will have a link to the photographer’s website (or if no website we will list your email). We hope it will bring attention to your work and sales to your business. Our goal is to have this online by July 31, but because of the volume of entries, we can’t be certain of meeting that date.
